The primary mission of the North Coast Electrical Company
is to provide electro-mechanical engineering support services
to industrial clients, inventors, entrepreneurs and individuals.

You’ll find the skill set at the North Coast Electrical Co. to be quite versatile. Our interests and experiences span both decades and disciplines.
Formal training in the fields of hydraulics, pneumatics, automation, machining, electronics, electrical power distribution, and computers provides an excellent background for the design, fabrication, and troubleshooting of automated systems.
Efforts with our renewable energy clients has provided numerous challenging opportunities in design, AutoCAD electro-mechanical 2-D drawing (drafting), Alibre parametric 3-D solid modeling, machine shop, patent illustration and data acquisition to name but a few. Other opportunities have led to the development, programmatic manipulation and management of large digitized databases. While still others have provided the venue for us to show-off our talents with process plumbing. And it hardly stops here.
Whether your concept is of a prototype device, a sub-system, or a component; in addition to whether it is sketched on the back of a napkin or a fully developed design, we can help.
Through AutoCAD drawings (drafting), and/or Alibre 3-D solid modeling, we can produce suitable engineering renderings at the level that you desire.
If patent illustrations are amongst your requirements, we might suggest AutoCAD electro-mechanical 2-D drawings (drafting). If your device is a multi-part assembly, it might be better suited as an Alibre parametric 3-D solid model rendering. Our goal is to move through the process as cost effectively as possible. We have both patent illustrator capability on staff as well as established working relationships with professional patent illustrators for large or unduly complex artwork requirements.
We offer expertise in the area of controls engineering, automation, and special machines. Experience includes: AutoCAD drawing automation, AutoCAD electro-mechanical drawings, PLC's, programming, systems design & integration, panel layout, component specification and sizing, troubleshooting and debug.
Continuous computer user circa 1980. Through computer coursework in academia and OJT, the evolutionary ride since those early days of personal computing has been both a joy, and an invaluable experience. A working knowledge of a variety on operating systems, desktop repair, TCP/IP networking, programming, application software, both personally developed and canned, provides a solid foundation from which to tackle many tasks.
Our machine shop is capable of the vast majority of our machining needs and requests. In addition, we have ready access to both wire and plunge EDM, heat treat, precision grinding, and machinery for large components.
Data acquisition can offer a number of interesting challenges. For example, the sharing of and/or presentation of data. We offer consultation in this area.
We are located in the Rochester, NY (New York) metropolitan area.
